BBMAs 2020: Lizzo, Demi Lovato, Post Malone e mais. Confira os destaques!

A edição de 2020 do Billboard Music Awards, que aconteceria em abril e foi adiada devido a pandemia do novo coronavírus, foi realizada na noite desta quarta-feira (14). Conhecemos os grandes destaques da parada internacional entre 23 de março de 2019 e 14 de março de 2020, período levado em conta para as indicações da premiação

O grande vencedor da noite foi o rapper Post Malone, que levou para casa a vitória de 9 categorias. No entanto, nomes de Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X e Khalid também foram destaques na premiação, além de apresentações de Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, ALicia Keys e discurso empoderador de Lizzo.

Lizzo recebe prêmio e faz discurso empoderado

Lizzo fez um discurso empoderado após receber o troféu da categoria de Melhor Artista em Vendas,. Em um vestido todo estampado com a palavra "vote", em referência às eleições americanas de novembro, a cantora enviou uma mensagem de resistência. "Tenho pensado muito sobre a supressão e as vozes que se recusam a serem suprimidas", disse a artista após agradecer a sua equipe e fãs.

"Eu me pergunto, eu estaria aqui agora se não fosse pelas grandes mulheres negras que se recusam a ter suas vozes suprimidas? Se você está em casa assistindo isso e está pensando em mudar para se sentir digno, este é o seu sinal para permanecer fiel a quem você é"

Kelly Clarkson homenageia Whitney Houston

A apresentação de abertura não poderia ter sido melhor. Kelly Clarkson homenageou a eterna Whitney Houston ao cantar “Higher Love” junto ao grupo Pentatonix e a baterista Sheila E.

Demi Lovato apresenta “Commander In Chief”

Demi Lovato fez a aguardada primeira performance ao vivo de “Commander In Chief”, que traz uma forte crítica ao presidente Donald Trump, principalmente por conta da sua atuação durante a pandemia do coronavírus. Na apresentação, ela foi acompanhada por um coral e mostrou toda a sua potência vocal.

Alicia Keys apresenta “Love Looks Better”

Outra apresentação que recebeu elogios nas redes sociais foi a da cantora Alicia Keys. A artista performou a canção “Love Looks Better”, sucesso do seu mais recente álbum, “ALICIA”.

Post Malone, o vencedor da noite

O rapper Post Malone foi o grande vencedor da noite. O artista levou nove troféus para casa. São eles, o de “Melhor Artista da Billboard Top 200”, “Melhor Artista da Top 100”, “Artista Mais Ouvido (Top Streaming)”, “Melhor Artista de Rap”, “Melhor Artista Masculino de Rap”, “Melhor Turnê de Rap”, “Melhor Álbum de Rap” e o de “Melhor Artista Masculino”. Ele ainda performou o hit “Circles”.
